EdgarStat® is an online subscription database of company financial information and statistical functions for transfer pricing analysis. We provide financial information for listed stock exchange companies in the U.S., including the current and historical income statement, balance sheet, financial ratios, 10-K and 10-Q SEC (Securities & Exchange Commission) filings to facilitate comparability analysis.
EdgarStat is useful to find comparable companies in order to determine an arm’s-length range of gross or operating profits. We provide every profit level indicator (“PLI”) specified in the Section 482 Regulations, and the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines; and we provide interquartile ranges of the selected PLI, including gross profit margin, Berry ratio, operating profit margin, and return on operating assets.
EdgarStat allows the subscriber to set aside outliers by using Tukey’s filter, and to perform multi-year what-if analyses. EdgarStat can be searched by Company Name, Ticker Symbol, Full-Text, or by SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) code. In addition, EdgarStat contains a database of unredacted services agreements and offers transfer pricing consulting services, including tax planning, compliance documentation, audit defense, APA submission, litigation support, and expert witness testimony.
